British and European Motoring Show 2026
The British and European annual display day at Yarra Glen racecourse was successfully run with 826 club cars and 49 motorcycles on display. There were also 971 spectators through the gate.

Welcome to one of my favourite times in Victoria – how can you not enjoy that period where the trees start turning and the Autumn colours start exploding forth. It also is a great time to get out and do some driving and here we hit the first speedhump.

Club Profile Motto Guzzi Club of Vic
Moto Guzzi was established in 1921, in the picturesque rural village of Mandelo Del Lario, about halfway up the Eastern shore of Lake Como, and a long way from the traditional industrial centre of Milan. Unusually, the factory is still there, and despite Moto Guzzi now being part of the Piaggio Group, production remains at Mandelo Del Lario
Early Victorian Number Plates
The year 2010 marked the centenary of motor vehicle registration in Victoria. The Motor Car Act 1909 which came into operation on 1 Jan 1910 required vehicles (cars, trucks and motor cycles) to display an identifying number. Registration plates were not issued by the Government and owners were required to supply their own.
STOLEN ARTWORKS
The description ‘artwork’ is most readily associated with sculptures and paintings, although it is equally applicable to literature and music. I happen to share the view held by many that some cars can also be considered works of art - perhaps the most obvious example being the Jaguar E-Type.
