The AOMC recognises the importance of trades and specialist suppliers that enable the historic and enthusiast movement to maintain our club and enthusiast vehicles. We consider many of these moveable pieces of cultural heritage and we have a small amount in our budget for support of apprentices and businesses dedicated to this area.

APPRENTICE SUPPORT
Apprentice Support Grant 2025
Criteria and Application
Available to apprentices working in businesses that support the historic and enthusiast movement in Victoria.
Apprentices must be undertaking work that support the historic and enthusiast movement.
Apprentices must be enrolled in an apprenticeship program supported by the business in Victoria.
Apprentices must have successfully completed study units and have a 95% attendance record for classroom and work attendance – exceptional circumstances ie. serious illness and injury can be considered.
Funding can go towards tools, study fees etc.
Nomination must come from a member of an AOMC member club.
Other factors to be considered:
Individual Vehicle Ownership – do they own a historic/enthusiast car
Club membership
Other awards achieved
Academic record
Commitment to continue in work that support the historic and enthusiast movement

BUSINESS SUPPORT
Business Support Grant 2025
Criteria and Application
Available to businesses that support the historic and enthusiast movement located in Victoria.
Nomination must come from an AOMC member club.
Must be for a specific piece of equipment (or part thereof), machinery or technology e.g. POS system.
For staff recognition or reward.
Other factors to be considered:
Individual vehicle ownership – do they own a historic/enthusiast car
Club membership
Commitment to continue in work that support the historic and enthusiast movement
What impact the grant will have on the future of the business
Business viability
Business must be registered for the AOMC Trade and Club showcase to be held on 18 October 2025.
