AOMC MembershipPLUS
Association of Motoring Clubs in association with Affinity Insurance Brokers has developed a comprehensive Insurance Program to protect the activities of affiliated AOMC MembershipPLUS Clubs and their management and volunteers. The principal covers arranged are:
Combined Public and Products Liability Insurance
Voluntary Workers Insurance
Associations Liability Insurance
The AOMC MembershipPLUS affiliation program commenced on 1st July 2025, when financial members of the AOMC were invited to apply for MembershipPLUS affiliation for an additional fee. Eligibility is initially restricted to incorporated clubs operating or managed from Victoria, and will not include clubs involved in motorsport or other high risk activities. Other eligibility restrictions may apply in the first instance as we work through some of the potentially more difficult risk issues that are unique to a small subset of member clubs.
A MembershipPLUS Handbook has been prepared to help AOMC member clubs participate in the program and is available on request. The handbook includes details about the program as well as checklists and to do list to help Clubs work through the implementation process.
Multiple forms and sample documents and templates that are needed when applying for AOMC MembershipPLUS affiliation or when preparing a Risk Management Plan are available for download as follows.
The program launched with a training seminar on 10th May 2025 targeted to the executive committees of the current AOMC member clubs and explained how MembershipPLUS affiliation works, as well as what affiliated clubs need to do to participate in the program.
