Anne and I are currently spending some time in Devon and Cornwall, based at our friends holiday lodge. Today we ventured into the Dartmoor wilds, and whilst having a peaceful lunch of fish and chips in a little hamlet, 100 motorcycles and 5 Morgans rolled into town.

At the May AOMC Delegates meeting we invited Revival EV to tell us about their new venture offering a new option for reviving classic cars, with an electric future.

Scott Anderson and Chris Mander displayed their first EV vehicle, a 1972 BMW 2002 and described their business approach to completing this task.

Early Victorian Number Plates

The year 2010 marked the centenary of motor vehicle registration in Victoria.  The Motor Car Act 1909 which came into operation on 1 Jan 1910 required vehicles (cars, trucks and motor cycles) to display an identifying number.  Registration plates were not issued by the Government and owners were required to supply their own.
