Dear Rally Enthusiasts,
On behalf of the Committee of the Veteran Vintage & Classic Vehicle Club of Wangaratta I would like to invite you to join us for our 52nd Annual Spring Rally to be held on Friday 15TH, Saturday 16TH and Sunday 17TH September 2023.
The Vine Hotel at 27 Detour Road, North Wangaratta will be our venue for the Rally and the venue for our evening meal on Saturday Night. This year we will be travelling to the picturesque Lake William Hovel in the King Valley and enjoying a Mystery Trivia Drive around our region.
Our Schedule for the Rally is:
Friday 15th from 4pm until 6pm Registration - Register and collect your Rally Pack in main dining room of The Vine Hotel. Meet and greet, enjoy a drink with new friends and those people whose company you enjoyed in previous years. Light refreshments will be provided. Meals can be individually purchased if you so choose, but please register your intention to order a meal at The Vine Hotel on the entry form.
Saturday 16th Registration open 8am to 9am at The Vine Hotel - Gather at The Vine Hotel carpark in time for departure at 9.10am for our Rally Run. The first leg of our run will be to travel through the towns of Moyhu, Whitfield and Cheshunt to arrive at Lake William Hovel and enjoy a series of novelty events and games before our BBQ lunch provided by the Lions Club of Wangaratta. On our return trip along the King Valley you will be able to sample the selection of wines at the various Wineries along the route.
Saturday Night Dinner: Will be held at The Vine Hotel commencing at 6.30 for a 7pm meal. Bar facilities are available and a few lucky door prizes will add to the evening’s fun.
Sunday 17th 9am start - Our venue for this morning is once again at The Vine Hotel. This is the time to walk around the vehicles and cast your vote for the trophies in each category. The run this morning will depart at 10.30am for a Mystery Trivia drive, returning to The Vine Hotel at 12.30/1pm for lunch and the presentation of the trophies.
Please Note;
1. Entries close 7 days prior to the Rally on Friday the 8th of September 2023.
2. Separate entry form needed for each vehicle.
3. All charges include GST where applicable.
4. Tail end “Charlie” will be there to assist.
