The Federal Labor party has proposed a $2000 credit for an "old clunker" when purchasing a suitable low fuel consumption new car. The AOMC and the AHMF (Australian Historical Motoring Federation) are concerned that this might be the "thin end of the wedge" to get older cars off the roads. The AHMF has sent a letter to the Prime Minister. The AOMC is now able to search Victorian Registration records from 1910 to 1932. This is in addition to our Engine No. records. More details here. |
